Area rug cleaning done in our facility, not on your floor
An area rug holds far more dirt than it shows. Dry soil and sand settle at the base of the pile, where a vacuum cannot reach, and every step grinds them into the fibers. Spills, pet accidents and South Florida humidity add odors that come back on damp days.
Pure Cleaning US picks up your rug, washes it in our facility and brings it back clean and dry. Every rug is inspected and dye tested first, so the method fits the fiber, whether it is a hand-knotted Persian, a silk rug or a modern synthetic.
How we clean area rugs
- Inspection and dye test: We check the fiber, the construction and every color for bleeding.
- Dust removal: A vibrating machine removes the dry soil and sand packed into the base of the rug.
- Hand wash: The rug is bathed and hand washed with soft brushes and a solution suited to the fiber.
- Rinse and dry: Most of the water is removed and the rug is dried with climate-controlled air, usually within 24 hours.
Rugs we clean
Persian and oriental, silk, wool, viscose, shag, antique, Pakistani, Chinese Art Deco and needlepoint rugs, plus modern synthetic and machine-made rugs. An optional protective finish helps the rug resist new stains.
