South Florida is hard on outdoor furniture
Balconies and patios in Miami face sun, humidity, salt air and summer rain. Outdoor cushions trap moisture, which leads to black mildew spots and a musty smell, and sunscreen, pollen and bird droppings stain the fabric.
We clean outdoor cushions, sofas, lounge chairs and outdoor rugs on site, treat mold and mildew at the source, and rinse out salt and residue. Cushions are left to dry in the sun and air, ready for use the same day in most cases.
How we clean outdoor furniture
- Inspection: We check the fabric, the foam and any mildew or stains.
- Pre-treatment: Mildew, sunscreen, pollen and droppings are pre-treated with solutions made for outdoor fabric.
- Deep cleaning and rinse: Fabric is cleaned and rinsed fully, so no soap is left to attract dirt.
- Dry: Cushions are stood on edge to drain and dry in the air and sun.
