Project overview
A colorful patterned area rug from a Miami home came to us dull and gray from everyday traffic. The photos show the rug before and after our full wash.
The process
- We inspected the rug and tested the dyes for color bleeding.
- A vibrating machine removed the dry soil and sand packed into the base.
- The rug was bathed and hand washed with soft brushes.
- We dried it with climate-controlled air and inspected it before delivery.
The result
The colors came back bright and the pattern is crisp again, as the after photo shows. The rug went back to the home clean, dry and ready to lay down.
